Contact Us
We would genuinely like to hear from you, whether that is a question about a calculator, a correction, a suggestion for a new tool, or general feedback about the site. This page explains the best way to reach us and what to expect.
Email us
The fastest way to reach us is by email: SSrichandan.business@gmail.com. We read every message that comes in. Because this is a small, independent site, replies are handled personally rather than through a support team, so please allow a few business days for a response, especially for detailed technical questions.
What we can help with
We are happy to hear about:
- Calculation errors. If a result looks wrong, this is the single most useful thing you can report. Please include the calculator's name, the exact numbers you entered, and what result you expected versus what you saw. This lets us reproduce the issue and check it against a reference calculation quickly.
- Unclear explanations. If a guide or a "How this calculation works" section left you more confused rather than less, tell us which page and which part. We would rather rewrite a confusing paragraph than leave it as is.
- Requests for new calculators. If you regularly need to work out a savings scenario that none of our current fifteen calculators cover, let us know what it is and how you would use it.
- Broken links or technical issues. Pages that do not load, buttons that do not respond, or downloads that fail are all worth reporting, along with the device and browser you were using if you can share it.
- Accessibility feedback. We want this site to be usable with a keyboard, a screen reader, or on a small mobile screen. If you found part of the site hard to use with assistive technology, please tell us specifically what happened.
- Press, partnerships and other business enquiries. If you are writing about personal finance tools and want to reference this site, or you have a relevant partnership proposal, include the details and your outlet or organisation.
What we cannot help with
We are not able to provide personal financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and we cannot comment on your individual financial situation, recommend a specific bank, account, or investment product, or review your personal finances. Our calculators are educational tools; for advice that takes your full circumstances into account, please speak with a licensed financial adviser, accountant, or other qualified professional in your country.
We also are not able to retrieve or recreate a calculation you ran previously, since we do not store the numbers you enter into any calculator on our servers. If you want to keep a result, use the Share, Print, PDF, or CSV options available on each calculator page before you close the tab.
How to report a calculation issue effectively
To help us investigate quickly, a good report usually includes:
- The exact calculator page (for example, "the Compound Interest Calculator").
- Every number you entered, including the currency, rate type, compounding frequency, and deposit timing settings, since these all affect the result.
- The result you got, and the result you expected, ideally with your own working or a source for the expected figure.
- The device and browser you used, if the issue might be display-related rather than a calculation error.
Reports with this level of detail are usually the fastest to resolve, sometimes within the same day.
Response times
We aim to acknowledge every message within a few business days. Straightforward corrections are often fixed quickly once confirmed; larger requests, such as a brand new calculator, take longer since they involve building, testing, and writing the accompanying explanation from scratch.
Before you write in
A few quick things you can check yourself first, which sometimes answer the question faster than waiting for a reply:
- Our Guides section covers the reasoning behind many calculators in more depth than the calculator page itself.
- Every calculator page has a "Frequently asked questions" section addressing common points of confusion for that specific tool.
- The Disclaimer page explains what our estimates do and do not account for, which answers a common category of question ("why doesn't my bank statement match this exactly?").
A note on trust and safety
Please never send sensitive personal information by email, such as full bank account numbers, passwords, or government identification numbers. We will never ask you for this information, and there is no legitimate reason to include it in a message to us. If you need to reference an account for context, describe it in general terms instead (for example, "a high-yield savings account" rather than an account number).
Common reasons people write in
To give you a sense of the range of messages we receive: some readers write in after comparing our Compound Interest Calculator against a spreadsheet formula and finding a small rounding difference worth asking about; others want to know why the Emergency Fund Calculator does not recommend a single "correct" number of months; and a good number of messages are simply thank-you notes after a guide helped someone work out a real savings plan. All of these are genuinely welcome, and each one helps us understand what to explain more clearly or build next.
